Useless? I don't think so. I mean, I get "something" from the picture. I guess you got "something" from the view.

Isn't that what beautiful means? Useful means that you can do something with it. My point is that civilization is not about useful, but about beauty. We use the useful things to get more beautiful things, because those are the ones that we get something from.
